Arta Gallery's 10 Year Anniversary
April 26, 2013

Arta Gallery is thrilled to be celebrating our 10th Anniversary. It has been a wonderful journey of discovery and Arta has been very fortunate to welcome amazing names and budding artists of the Canadian Art & Culture landscape. We have had the opportunity to grace our growing walls with some very talented individuals and we look forward to celebrating the next decade with our wonderful artists and clients. We have been proud to call Distillery our home since its inception and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped to make our gallery a major artistic center of Toronto.

From initial selection of image capture through the various workflow procedures to end up with a finished print; Bob will discuss the different steps that are required (selection of process and methods of editing work using both PS and in the darkroom) and the consequences of each route. ** different print process will be shown as we go through the methods**
Following this Bob will discuss different options for displaying ones work from simple mounts to complex framing options.
Samples of each option discussed will be available to look at. Ideas on how one can save money, headaches and aggravation on framing and display at the beginning of their career will be discussed in detail.
Building a portfolio, approaching Gallery’s and venues, creating a concise exhibition as well as crating and shipping work for transportation will also be addressed.
A question and answer session will follow after you have a chance to see the prints up close and framing options.
